+1 Wings for Brainrots How to Upgrade Wings

Wings are your most important equipment in +1 Wings for Brainrots. This guide covers the complete wing progression path from Default Wings to Prismatic and Hacker Wings, including Rebirth unlocks and premium Robux options.

Wing Progression Path

Wings upgrade through two paths: organic Rebirth progression and Robux purchases. The Rebirth path unlocks 10 wing pairs across 20 Rebirth levels. Each new wing significantly outperforms the previous in both Speed multiplier and Stamina duration. The full list is on the wings reference page.

Rebirth wing unlocks: Red (2), Blue (4), Gold (6), Emerald (8), Purple (10), Frost (12), Shadow (14), Neon Pink (16), Neon Cyan (18), Prismatic (20). Plan your Rebirth timing around these milestones for immediate flight range improvements.

Equipping Wings

Visit the Wings shop near the starting line or the Equip Wings spot to view and equip your collection. Always equip the highest-tier wing available. Switch immediately when a new wing unlocks through Rebirth — the Speed and Stamina improvement is substantial.

Before Rebirthing, purchase the best wing you can afford with remaining Cash. After Rebirth, equip your highest unlocked wing (which persists) and continue farming with improved flight stats.

Premium Wings

Darkness Wings (5x Speed, 200s Stamina) and Hacker Wings (6.5x Speed, 230s Stamina) are available through Robux purchases without Rebirth requirements. Hacker Wings are the strongest in the game and enable immediate access to end-game areas. However, organic progression through Rebirths remains the standard path for most players.

Wing and Rebirth Synergy

Each wing unlock coincides with a Rebirth level that also grants a cash multiplier. Rebirth 10 unlocks Purple Wings (2.25x Speed, 80s) AND a 5x cash multiplier. Rebirth 20 unlocks Prismatic Wings (4x Speed, 140s) AND a 10x multiplier. These combined rewards make even-numbered Rebirths the most impactful milestones.

Track your progress with the Rebirth Calculator and the full Rebirth table.

Wing Selection for Area Targeting

Match your wing to your target area. Default Wings reach Common/Rare. Gold Wings (Rebirth 6) reach Legendary. Shadow Wings (Rebirth 14) reach Secret. Prismatic Wings (Rebirth 20) reach OG. If you cannot reach a target area, you need either a better wing or more Stamina upgrades.

Combine wing upgrades with flight routing and max Carry for optimal farming efficiency at each progression stage.

Wing Speed multipliers stack with your Speed shop upgrades — a 4x Prismatic Wing on 260 Speed covers vastly more distance than Default Wings on the same Speed stat. When comparing wings, weigh Stamina duration equally with Speed multiplier. A wing with high Speed but low Stamina may reach an area quickly yet fail on the return trip.

Which wing should I equip?
Always equip the highest-tier wing you have unlocked. There is no benefit to using lower wings once better ones are available.
Do wings cost Cash?
Rebirth-unlocked wings are free once you reach the Rebirth level. The Wings shop near the starting line may require Cash for certain purchases. Premium wings cost Robux.
Can I lose wings on Rebirth?
No. Unlocked wings persist through Rebirth. You retain all previously earned wings and can equip them immediately after resetting.
What are the best wings without Rebirth?
Default Wings are the only free option without Rebirth. Darkness Wings (5x Speed) and Hacker Wings (6.5x Speed) can be purchased with Robux immediately.
